I had a good workout today and I'm ready for tomorrow. I feel I can lose 5 pounds just by doing this with diet. Which may or may not be a good thing.

I just want to get in the 230s and stay there for awhile and then I'll be happy. Let's see how it goes.

I think it will make a difference. Just be sure to mix it up so your body gets some rest.

Best of luck! I'm sure you'll do it! To start out, I'm just doing cardio four days a week, and strength training 2-3 days a week. I will have stuck to it for three straight weeks, as of tomorrow, so that's good for me so far (especially compared to my past dismal attempts at exercise!)

The USDA recommends 1 hr of elevated heart rate activity per day. Seems high for the average person but I guess we're getting used to sitting around. When I started at the gym I was doing every day but now it's every weekday and some other physical activity one weekend day. Could change as I can't seem to settle in to a sleep pattern, or I haven't gotten used to the early thing yet. Damn day job.

Best of luck to ya! I always try to do SOME form of working out every day, whether I feel like it or not. It doesn't have to be big, but I just want to do something.
