Gym for 7-days in row!
Posted on 22. Jan, 2010 by Jay in Gym
I think I’m going to try a little experiment. I usually go to the gym 3-5 days a week depending if I feel like going or not. What I want to do is for a week straight go to the gym everyday without missing any days. I think that will help kick start my losing weight again.
Right now I’m at 246 lbs and I feel pretty good. I just want to be in the 230s and then I can hold that for 3-4 weeks or so. Maybe I’m an impatient person, I don’t know, I just need to be in the 230s sooner rather then later.
So that’s the mini-challenge for now.. going to the gym for a week straight starting tomorrow (I’m heading to sleep now).
Cheers,
JayLoss

Best of luck to ya! I always try to do SOME form of working out every day, whether I feel like it or not. It doesn’t have to be big, but I just want to do something.

The USDA recommends 1 hr of elevated heart rate activity per day. Seems high for the average person but I guess we’re getting used to sitting around. When I started at the gym I was doing every day but now it’s every weekday and some other physical activity one weekend day. Could change as I can’t seem to settle in to a sleep pattern, or I haven’t gotten used to the early thing yet. Damn day job.

Best of luck! I’m sure you’ll do it! To start out, I’m just doing cardio four days a week, and strength training 2-3 days a week. I will have stuck to it for three straight weeks, as of tomorrow, so that’s good for me so far (especially compared to my past dismal attempts at exercise!)

I think it will make a difference. Just be sure to mix it up so your body gets some rest.

I had a good workout today and I’m ready for tomorrow. I feel I can lose 5 pounds just by doing this with diet. Which may or may not be a good thing.
I just want to get in the 230s and stay there for awhile and then I’ll be happy. Let’s see how it goes.
