NO More Wal-Mart Clothes For Me
Posted on 28. Jan, 2010 by Jay in Challenge +
About six months ago I went to a nice clothing store which had all the clothes I wanted to wear but NOTHING that would fit me. The clothes were great, and they were cheap and I couldn’t get anything. I think that’s when it hit me that in order for me to get away from the fat clothes store (Wal-Mart) and get the clothes I wanted.. I would have to lose weight. It has been a HUGE motivator for me.. and finally today I was able to easily get several shirts that ALL fit me. It might not be a big thing for the average person.. but for me, it truly made my day.
I moved from 3XL shirts, to 2XL and XL shirts. And I went from a 46 inch waist to a 42 inch waist and shrinking. I’m so happy that I can shop at other places other then Wal-Mart you guys have no idea. It’s the first time in over 10 years!
Thought I would share that.

I remember that feeling. I’m down from size 48 to size 34 pants at present. And size 4xl to l for shirts. And it feels goooood!

Nice, I can’t wait to have that same feeling.
I’ll get there.

Congrats man! I never thought of Walmart being a place for fat clothes. Hmm. Makes sense. I just remember 42/44 always being hard to find. Guess I was looking around in Kohls. I like that place. Especially now that more of their stuff fits. Went from 44 to 36. I went for a long time before buying new clothes. Everything was extra baggy for so long. It’s exciting to be wearing fitting stuff. Got many comments. I think that’s good.

I don’t like walking around with super baggy clothes so I have been buying new clothes it seems every few weeks and I’m loving it.
I was planning on going shopping for more clothes later today.. but I should probably hold off a few weeks. I have more weight to lose. :p
And yes, Wal-Mart caters to larger people. Which is fine.. but I’m tired of the limited selections. I want style.. and not bulk crap anymore.
