Lap Swimming is Fun!

So my trainer recommended I try swimming for one of my low intensity cardio days. I was somewhat hesitant at first, but after getting in and doing a couple laps I found that it’s a GREAT cardio exercise!
I just did a few laps and I was already breathing pretty hard. I remember back when I used to go to the community pool every summer, I never thought of it as exercise because it was just really fun to do. Well, when done properly I guess it can be exercise.
The only negative was that I had some great swimming shorts I bought about a month ago that fit fine when I bought them.. but at the gym they were about two inches too big.. so I had problems.
Other then that, swimming is a great new cardio exercise that I will integrate into my normal workouts at least once a week now.

Sounds like a good workout! Hope you were able to work out the situation with your swim trunks – LOL. A good problem to have, though!
