Just Finished My Home Gym Workout
Posted on 19. Feb, 2010 by Jay in Weight Loss
There’s nothing much to report on today. As I said with the last post I’m going to be working out everyday for the next couple weeks to try and break this plateau I’m stuck in. Today I just did a mix of strength training and cardo (boxing + elliptical). I didn’t feel like going to Gold’s Gym today, it’s such a cloudy day outside and with no sun it brings my mood down I guess.
I do want to start a weight loss section somewhere on the blog where I can post some weight loss tips. Also a fitness section to have some exercises to do. I find I sometimes do the same exercises over and over again and I’m not getting sore by them anymore. If I research new exercises I could hopefully get a better workout.
By the way I’m getting tired of eating a lot of protein my trainer recommends I eat. I mean there are only so many different proteins out there and I think I’ve eaten them all in the past week. Actually I found out that turkey chili has about 22 grams of protein per serving so I had some today. It was pretty good.
Time for a protein shake and shower.

You should totally make a page with tips you’ve discovered. We both should. May as well since we’re obsessing over this stuff
At least it seems your protein is coming from real food. I just have 3 different powders I alternate between. Not counting the little that’s in my Smart Ones lunch and soup dinner.
Livestrong.com/myplate has an interesting carb-fat-protein chart it generates when I enter my foods. It helps ensure there’s a reasonable balance between those 3 things. Like 50-25-25. Talked to a nutrition store owner who said you want twice as many carbs as protein. For what that’s worth.

Yeah, I’ll work on a fitness page or something. And then maybe a weight loss page. I’m not sure of what names to give them yet. I need to do some keyword research first I guess.
