Exercise Every Day

So it’s been almost two weeks of going to the gym every day (I have one week left), and I feel great but I’m getting tired of the gym. I think I’m either getting bored a little or I’m stressing too much about it? I’m not sure. I think this week I’ll do laps a couple times just to do something new and I have three sessions with my trainer which shall be interesting. The good news though is that I’m pretty sure I killed the plateau I was in a couple weeks back!

Young Body BuilderThe scary part though is deep down inside I feel like I can’t continue to do this. I feel like giving up sometimes and just giving in to being lazy and eating whatever I want. I know I never want to go back to how I used to be, but it’s getting hard.. especially when some weeks I don’t see any results.

I think it’s a mind over mater type of thing. I have to keep strong and focused on what I want. And what I want is to be healthy and in great shape. :)

After this last week of working out, I think I’m going to take a break and go back to 4-6 times a week. My diet has slipped a couple times this week (spiking a few hundred calories a day), but I haven’t seen any negative effects because of it. I think that goes with working out every single day. :p

P.S. I think the secret to body builder types is that they workout 2-4 hours a day and for 5-6 days a week! I’m just taking a guess that’s what they’re doing.. and of course eating a crap load of protein!

You’re doing amazing things! The training and the controlled eating is not the easy life for sure. But just keep doing what “slim Jay” would do. :)
